    It's because of Christmas...

Well all 12/19/09 was the last day to object...and there were no takers!!YES!! I havent seen anything on PACER since report of no distribution, but I can only assume it's the holiday season and everyone is slow at work, i can understand that. I'm hoping for a discharge right around the corner , HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Still wondering though, did a ride through with Citimortgage on 1st mortgage and they havent said a peep about reaffirming, Navy Federal hasn't on my 2nd mortgage either, I dont want to reaffirm anything because as bad as the market is, selling may not be an option when it's time to go and being able to just "walk away" is looking pretty good right about now, anyone had to deal with either of these companies on the reaffirmation issue?? other than a little worried about that all is well, have a wonderul holiday ALL!!

I have them as my 1st, too. I did eventually get a re-aff letter but just ignored it. They do keep sending a statement monthly but it states "not trying to collect debt". However, you just keep paying monthly as long as you plan to stay. I also reluctantly keep paying on my 2nd even though I'm almost tempted "not" to.. but don't wanna risk having the 2nd possibly foreclosing on us.
