Is this one of the normal processes in bk?
I think there is nothing to do for me at this time. I hope that it is just a normal process. Any idea?

Have a wonderful Holiday Season, everyone!

Someone else had one last week, and I had one as well. It seems to be routine with Best Buy?

I figure it''s a change of address for notifications in my case as the new address wasn't the Best Buy or the HSBC address we used. They didn't show up at my 341 either. I owed about $1100 - mostly $100 -$200 charges over several years.

If the address you provide to the BK court is different than the address to which they want notices sent, they'll file this for the court to send notices.
If you didn't include them as creditors they can file this so they'll get notices of your bankruptcy and all subsequent filings if they're a creditor.

I am an attorney, but I am just not your attorney.

This really tells you nothing of their intentions. My mortgage company filed one and so did that idiot in Florida that files on almost every bankruptcy case in the US. There were no adversary proceedings and my mortgage company did not show at the 341. The only creditor that did show was my credit union with the reaffirmation papers for my vehicle loan.

Means nothing. They just want to be sent any updates on your BK.
