Chapter 7 and want to keep house

I am planning on filing chapter 7 in a few months. I want to reaffirm mortgage and keep house. I understand I have to be current on mortgage.

Does the mortgage company put your account on hold and refuse to accept payments when you file ? Maybe I am confusing that with something else I read. Any help appreciated.

Mine stopped taking online payments when I filed, I had to pay by phone, or go in person to pay. My attorney wanted me to stay current on all secured assets I planned on keeping before, during and after bankruptcy.
