    No Documents At all?

I heard that I don't have to bring any documents, e.g., bank statements, bills, contracts, etc., in the 341 meeting. (Except ID ans SS card)

I provided a copy of 2008 tax return and 3-month pay stub. That's it!

I will bring a ID and SS card but the paralegal told me that I don't have to bring anything in 341 meeting.

UST will check all my financial stuffs electronically? I am wondeering how they can check the balances in my bank or any transactions in the past without the bank statements?

Is this normal in other districts? I am in Northern California.

I think that I still need to prepare all the documents though just in case...
    Any thought?

You will need to provide your attorney copies of the past 6 months of bank statements, bills or credit reports, 2 years of tax returns and 6 months of paycheck stubs so they can prepare the paperwork to be submit electronically for your filing. At least my attorney asked me for those items. At my 341 only my drivers license and social security card were required.

Same here as SPalin, but also adding that I had to bring a copy of my bank statement that showed balances the day of filing to my 341.

My attorney just sent a letter requesting the same.

Plus the social security card & drivers license.

My attorney has all of my documentation. All I plan to bring is the ss card and drivers license.

I'm in Northern CA as well; and all the trustee asked for was the last 2 years tax returns, 3 months paystubs and a questionare (all to be done 7 days before 341). At the actual 341 nothing else was required except for the ID and SS Card.

              Thanks for all the responses.

BTW, what does it mean "All to be done 7 days before 341"?

Did the Trustee send you a paper version of a Questionaire?

My lawyer asked for 2 months of bank statement, and proof of 6 months income along with other normal stuff.

I only had to bring ss card and dr. license.

the trustee sent a packet to our home a about 10 days after filing. It had a questionare to fill out- and to provide more detail if it warranted. It asked for the paystubs, and tax returns. In order to not have the 341 continued- all of this information had to be in with the trustee 7 days prior to the 341.
At our 341- those that did not get this information to him- had their 341's continued. This was usually at least a month in the future- because of full calendars. So just make sure that you have everything to him/her as requested to avoid a continuation

All I needed was last 6 mo. of pay stubbs and 2 yrs tax returns. They never asked for any bank statements at all and I'm done with my 341 as of two days ago. I also found it odd that they did not ask for bank statements. I assume they could always ask anytime before discharge so I'm not jumping for joy yet. I'm in Michigan.
