Give it at least 75 days before you start stressing. The deadline for objections to your discharge passed at 60 days. You're free and clear. Sometimes it takes those federal workers a while to put the funny papers down and push the appropriate button. But they'll get around to it.

Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

MSBklaywer - does the fact that I'm an asset case (trustee is waiting on my 09 return - which in all liklihood, will have a refund of bupkis)..impact the discharge time frame?

(thank you for the words of reassurance, btw).

It shouldn't affect the discharge. It may affect the closing date, but shouldn't affect the discharge. But don't sweat it. Rarely is the discharge entered on the 61st day. Fedgov workers do EVERYTHING slow. They fall down slow.

We are in AZ too, and for some reason the trustee told all of us in the room to expect a discharge in 60 to 90 days...last day for objections is still 60 days from 341, but Im not sure why he said up to 90 days. For us, our case wont close until the trustee gets a copy of our 2009 return and any refund we might get.
          Filed C7 9-14-09
          341 Meeting 10-26-09
          Last day for Objections 12-28-09
          Discharged 1-4-10
