401k and filing chapter 7

I am just wondering, do you have to stop your 401k contributions prior to filing chapter 7.

I don't think so. I think there might be an issue if your contributions are very high though. We changed our contribution to 1% last month to give us more money to live on and now that our deduction is so small ($44 a month) I think we'll be ok including it as a deduction on Schedule I.
