Just wondering. Many posts that have problems with the confirmation hearing, bankruptcy, etc, have a lawyer, or another way to say it, paid professional legal council. This makes me worried. I thought before any pro went into court for administrative work, they would have the details worked out beforehand. Shouldn't the outcome be a formality. Otherwise why pay a pro and not do it yourself. Your thoughts?

For a simple ch. 7, I'm a believer in pro-se. I interviewed a bunch of attorneys and just didn't get good vibes. The one piece of advice I'd give if anyone goes pro-se though is plan well ahead and give yourself enough time to study & learn how to do it. It's the folks in a hurry that get themselves into trouble.Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008
