Taking sooooo long!

I had my 341 meeting Oct 5th this year and still waiting on discharge! I filed a chp 7 and at the time I retained my lawyer, I was current on my mtg. But by the time my 341 rolled around I was behind by about 6 months. I am just planning on letting it go through foreclosure. Would that have anything to do with the discharge taking so long? My mortgage company just had a court date last week to lift that stay of relief. I don't know anything yet. But, just wondering if that would affect my chapter 7 in anyway.

Wouldn't the discharge be 60 days after your 341, or December 4 or 5? Perhaps just a few more days.

your discharge isn't taking long (yet). they cannot discharge you before 60 days have passed after your 341. the first day they can legally discharge you would be dec.5. so viking64 is right, just hold your breath a few more days.
