increased income after filing yet before 341 meeting

I'd be worried about income generally going up if schedule J needs to be amended and then it shows too much disposable income. Schedule J's about expected future and too much there can still cause them to try to push you into chapter 13 even if your pre-filing past 6 months was fine. So I'm certainly planning to not try to hunt around for a salary increase until at least after my 341 because I'd hate to have to try to spin a tale of how my expected income is higher but, whoops, somehow my expenses jumped commensurately too.

Our monthly income went up $2,000 from the time we filed to the 341. It wasn't an issue as they only care about the six month prior to your filing. Attorney told us it would not be an issue and it wasn't.

Hi TK, did you have to disclose this in court or your attorney told you did not have to?

We have been able to pay our bills thanks to a lot of extra hours my husband was putting in at work. He was working 24/7 it seemed and we were still needing to charge things because there just wasn't enough money. The extra hours were drying up and we filed for bankruptcy because there was no way we could pay all our bills without the extra hours/money...and plus my husband was killing himself working so many hours. It was a hard pace to keep up. My question is...now that we filed and are done with the 341 hearing...and it looks like we will be discharged in a couple of months...are we (or is my husband) under any obligation (by the court) to work extra hours if they become available?
