I live in Illinois, and we filed back in March. We are still not discharged. When speaking to our attorney, she said for some reason we are stuck and she needs to file a motion to have us discharged. So far she has not done that, but we have been contacted by Ford Motor Credit. First they had a repo company call three times and now they are calling. I spoke to a lady at Ford and she said we were discharged back in Oct. I explained to her she was wrong and she shouldn't be contacting me. She said either they want the car back or it will "charged off" I owe $4,800 on it from the original price of $36,000. We've come into hard times, husband got hurt at work, Work Comp denying it and so on. We are expecting a check from his Union this week and I am going to pay the car off. What can be done about Ford calling us and then last night, Mr. Repo man rings our bell at 1:30 in the morning. Car was not there thank goodness it was in the shop to have the trans rebuilt for the third time. I can't get a hold of our attorney. Left messages and e-mailed but have not heard back yet.
