    Bankruptcy Petition

I have read tons of posts over the past 3 months on this forum. Many of the posts talked about the mountains of paperwork that the filer needed to fill out to complete thier BK petition.

We did visit with 3 different attorneys and actually liked them all, but we decided to go with the most experienced one. The attorney has been doing BK's for nearly 25 years, so he knows his job. Everyone in his office has been great!

We did our interview with our attorney where we went over all the information. Open\closed bank accounts, secured\unsecured creditors, income and so on. Well I was expecting to have mountains of paperwork, but along comes my BK petition. Everything seems to be accurate. My payroll taxes on the petition are a little higher than expected, but he said those could be adjusted upward because I pay in every year. Some of my expenses listed for utilities are higher, but all below the standards for my area. Everything else is also below what would be the standard for my area or national standard.

Were about $13,000 over the median income, but our $1,829 mortgage payment, car payments and other expenses put us into a CH7.

Means test DMI $-278.00 per month
Schedule J DMI $-87.64 per month

Anyone else experience not having to do much paperwork?

With what little I posted does anyone see problems?

We have a target date of filing on December 9, 2009.
