Make sure you have your ID SS card and anything you were told to bring. Set the alarm clock so you get up about an hour earlier--if the appointment is in the morning--so that you can leave in plenty of time to avoid traffic and parking problems.
Lastly, try to get a good night's sleep. You will do fine."To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."

Thank you all. We couldn't find my Wife's SS card, but we do have a couple of other things they said they would accept on the court document. We're taking last year's W2, a 1099, a SS administration report, and a document that said we applied for a replacement card... Hopefully all of those work (Although since it said they would on the summons we should be ok).
They also want us to bring paystubs, and a few other things. Since my wife works for someone as a Nanny, we're just bringing deposit slips/ records of deposit of her paycheck and my paystub. All in all we're probably bringing too much, but I would rather bring a lot than be 'sent to the back of the line' so to speak.
I don't think I'll need an alarm clock... I won't be able to sleep tonight
This forum helps a lot, hope to have a great report tomorrow!-------

Well didn't go as OK as planned. Since I am considered "high income" in came a lot of questions for the BK Administrator.
They wanted to know about the:
Money I send to my mother in law in another country
A few things on the Schedule J that is 'future expenses'. My lawyer said he would probably object to most of the stuff, because who can predict medical and dental and home maint expenses.
My home internet that I need for work
My certifications I have to keep current for work at 50/mo.
I'm gathering the paperwork and getting it to my attorney now.
Does this all sound bad? Probably standard stuff since we are riding the means test line.-------

Your expenses for supporting your mother in law, are going to be questioned because she's not your maternal parent, and she's not even a member of your household Is your spouse filing jointly? This would pull the in-law into the equation as a direct family member of your spouse. Also, is the in-law elderly or ill and otherwise incapable of supporting themselves? If this is consistent and you can show it has been for a while, you may be able to keep the expense.
Your home network expense, will depend on just how expensive your network is. Mine is about $119/month and the expense was okay (Chapter 13). I work at home when I'm not traveling for a project. I need the network speed that I have to earn income!
Your work-related expense for certifications, you'll probably be okay if you can prove that amount of $50/month or $600/year.
Any over-the-median person will have things questioned. What you listed in your response are indeed questionable expenses, regardless of over or under-the-median income.
If you're "riding the line" by a small amount ($100-200) then the UST and/or Panel Trustee thinks some of the expenses are not applicable and are trying to show that you shouldn't receive a discharge under Chapter 7.
I hope that your attorney is going to fight for you and that s/he anticipated some of this.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
