    Filing Friday! Quick question.

    Anxious, and relieved at the same time.

    I have started telling creditors that we are filing BK, and they have actually all been very nice. BofA (granted, just a telemarketing rep) thanked us for the info. and said "I hope things get better for you now, good luck in the future"
    ummm. Ok?

    ANyway, we need to finish our counseling, the portion where we do an online chat with a counselor.
    About how long will that take? We are doing it tonight.

    My online counselor spoke with me for maybe 10 minutes tops. Good luck...I just filed Monday!!!

      The first counseling is mainly a formality to see if you qualify for 13 or 7 or at all. It is not really anything. The second if you get a real good online service, WE enjoyed and it was actually fun. Took about two hours. 'Hub

        'Hub, you mean the second after your 341 before discharge?

          I did the second one the day after our 341. I had the computer open to two windows and did mine and my husband's at the same time.

          341 Hearing: 8/6/09 - Went Smoothly!
          Discharged: 11/30/2009
          Closed: 12/16/2009

            Yes, that is what he means. We took the second counseling course online two or three days after the 341.
