Expenditures question (chap 7 to 13)

[adviceplease]

I have about $45 dollars left a month after everything is paid and putting everything else in my expenditures list. Is it true that if you have more than $100 a month left over that the chapter 7 can be pushed into chapter 13? Is $45 a good amount, to high, to low?
