So I had a reaffirmation court meeting today, and my attorney did not attend.
It was straight forward, and I explained why I wanted to reaffirm and it was granted. I was so nervous, but it went very well.
I was reaffirming a car that I co-signed for my daughter. I do not make payments on this car (never have), and I was terrified it would be denied because how to you explain to your child that they can't keep the car THEY paid for? Whew!! What a stress reliever that this is over. It was approved!
The 60 days have passed (as of Monday) with no objections, so I believe all that is left now is the official discharge order. Does that seem right?
Does anybody typically have problems after this point?
