My 341 Hearing was on 11/12/09

I am in Los Angeles, CA.

Although 3 attorneys insisted that I file a chapter 13, I filed and prepared my own chapter 7 petition as married but filed individual petition. Income 120,000, Unsecured Debt 120000, Assets, 2 properties and two vehicles that we are keeping.

My hearing was scheduled for 11:00AM but I did not get called until 12:55PM. That alone gave me time to observe and listen to the cases scheduled before mine.

The trustee asked me the standard questions.........Then the trustee asked me the following questions:

    1) Is your primary residence near Martin Street? Then says I live in a nice area.
    2) How did you determine the value of your home? I told her my realtor did a market analysis.
    3) Do you and your husband still live together?
    4) When was the last time you used your credit cards?
    5) How did you figure out the exemptions on your assets? I told her that I did my research.
    6) Have you filed bankruptcy before?

Last thing trustee says "Thank You and Good Luck"

I checked the PACER today and the trustee has filed a report of NO distribution. Awaiting Discharge was noted.
