Due to my CU talking about proceeding with a judgment after missing two payments I went ahead and filed today. I had to go pro se as no money for a lawyer and had the forms printed out online. I changed a couple forms and updated another with correct information. It sure looks "pro se", most typed, some done in pen. Sorry Mr Trustee. Also some of the forms have only dollar values, no cents, and I would have liked to have retyped them, but time was running out, as was my ink on my printer.
Anyways the 341 is December 21st so I hope I have a good Christmas and don't get coal in my stocking. I'm hoping the Trustee will have a little Christmas cheer in him.
Talking with the lady intaking the forms, she said that in the Northern District of California that so far this year 8000 people have filed in Oakland, 8000 in San Jose, 4000 in San Francisco, and 4000 in Santa Rosa.
I want to thank everyone that has answered my "newby" questions, and everyone here, as there is no way I could have done this without the resources on this forum.
Question: Next step for me is sending "Proof of Service by Mail"? My CU gives their address as the head office of a large corporation, but I did find another address for them on one of my credit reports.
