    Discharge to case cloture

Does anyone know approximately how long it takes between a chapter 7 discharge and case cloture?

It can take anywhere from seconds to years. Suffice it to say that more "no asset" cases close within minutes or days of the discharge.

In an asset case, it depends on too many factors, but the case isn't close until the Trustee has administered all the assets of the case. Asset cases tend to take at least 6 months to close. Some folks have had their cases open for close to 2 years. In an asset case, it all depends on the liquidation of the assets and any litigation that the Trustee gets into.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
