Question for you all. I am from CA, now living in OR. In CA, there is no deficiency on a purchase money loan. A HELOC, second, or refi, yes. In other states is this the case? If so, even after reaffirming, there can be do deficiency judgment if the only mortgage was used to purchase the property. The only recourse would be the property. Just curious as in OR you cannot reaffirm on real estate anyway.
