HELOC and 2 car loans with a CU
I am still in the "many questions phase" and just realized something. My husband have two car loans and our HELOC with a credit union. I have been paying on the HELOC (we pretty much have it maxed out) and then I turn around and put the money right back into our checking account. So, I pay $200 and can put about $190 right back into my checking. We also have two car loans. I have been paying on one because when we file, we want to keep the one car. The other car loan I haven't paid on for two months. We have opened up another checking account with another CU and have moved our direct deposits to that new account.
Our next payment on the HELOC is due in January. I have a feeling when I go to pay that online and then move the money into checking, it is going to be frozen and they are going to move it to the car payment that we haven't been paying on. What do I do??? Thank you!
