    Filed in South Florida?

Just a quick question to anyone that has filed in S.Florida, I live in West palm Beach and have been told my many that there is a high chance that the trustee will come out to appraise my personal items. (I don't have anything really, I'm a college student with only books, a TV, some decorations, and some kitchen ware). Has anyone had a home visit? Will they ask questions about my roomates stuff that is everywhere (furniture,tv, PS3, etc.)
I am also including a Townhouse I partially own, on the BK, would they want to go see that property even though I don't live tehre?

Also, I was wondering approx. how soon are the 341 meeting is scheduled?

    Thanx for all your help!!

No, the Trustee that regularly sends out the appraisers is located over in the Tampa area (a female Trustee). That area is considered the Middle District. If you are in WPB you are in the Southern District. Here in WPB it is extremely rare to have an appraiser sent out.

The 341 is scheduled right on your initial notice and is normally within 30 to 45 days of filing. It is not located in the courthouse, the 341 is held in a building right on Flagler Drive in downtown WPB.
    Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
    Discharged Jan 5, 2009! Closed Jan 18, 2009

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

The WPB office trustee doesn't regularly send anyone out. Take another deep breath.

This is good news to hear, I am in WPB too

I am disclosing all assets of course, but its just rather uncomfortable and stressful to have a visit like that, so hopefully it never happens.

Those in WPB feel free to PM me and let me know what lawyers you interviewed and liked/didn't like and I can do the same.

I interviewed 4 lawyers in WPB, all only do BK, and have finally retained one, first meeting "as a client" is tomorrow!

I filed in WPB. For personal property my attorney listed that I live in my fathers furnished home, vehicles came $250 under exemption including the wildcard. On top of all that I got a check between 341 and discharge, the trustee looked at it and didn't take it.

So no they're not going to come take a playstation.
