Passed Day 60, Not Discharged Yet...

In fact, I just wanted to post more info: I looked up cases in my region that were filed around the same date that my case was filed and they were all discharged on day 62, as tomorrow is a Veterans Day, I will probably get my discharge on Thursday. So I guess I am only waiting for the technical part of it to go through.

As you can see from my signature, I had the same timeline from 60 days passing to discharge. There are so many more cases that the courts are dealing with, that it takes a couple of days to process the paperwork and do the audit.

Yes, it's just another few days to get our discharge and be clear of debt. We waited three months so we can wait another couple of days, I guess the worst possible things are now behind us.

It looks like we'll be able to address the objetion to exemptions next week if we get the discharge this week...

I'm in same district, same discharge date as you. Only difference is that I had no objections, nothing other than motion to lift stay for house we were already surrendering. I'll keep posted as to when my discharge is officially entered as well. I'm sure we're in the clear.

I decided to call the Bankruptcy Court Clerk in Seattle Courthouse, they told me that nothing is holding my discharge and I will get it tomorrow morning -- they said it is automatically issued by the system. However, tomorrow is Veterans Day so we might not get it until Thursday morning. Thanks for checking in and letting me know, I'll also post an update when I more info, the discharge is closer than ever!

The courts are getting more and more backed up, so it is taking longer to enter discharges. We are on Day 96! The Clerk told me the other day that they were working on cases that were filed at the end of June, 2009. We filed 7/3/09. So hopefully, we're coming up.

Yeah, I heard that California is really backed up, I looked up the cases that filed 2-4 days before me and they were all discharged on day 62. So hopefully I won't have to wait that long, we really need the discharge sooner! I feel the pain for everyone who has to wait long for their discharge!

I believe the discharge will be coming in Thursday (tomorrow) morning as the courthouse is closed for Veterans Day. Usually people were getting auto-generated discharges around 0:15am on day 62, the time tells that it's a machine generated entry.

Hopefully, I will not! but I have to admit that my mind is quite captured by the whole bk process. It was a great relief to pass the day 60 and I can only imagine what a relief it will be to get the discharge and then resolve the issue with objection to discharge. It seems like bankruptcy is holding up quite a few things that need to start happening in my life, but it's also a good amount of time to consider of your previous financial management and your plans, dreams, behavior, etc...

I am trying to be very calm about the whole process but being passed day 60 and just waiting to see your discharge in the system is quite challenging Though I probably will be sleeping by the time the system will auto-generate my discharge entry, my daugther might keep me up to midnight (she's 11.5 months and sometimes her energy shoots through the roof and I have to play with her till she just lays on the floor and falls asleep ).

I'll make sure to post as soon as I get the update on my discharge...

Nothing here even through the morning. For some reason, I think that I should start to worry but again, for some reason, I don't. I am going to call the case manager (that's who I talked to the last time) and ask, for some reason, it feels to me that it will be resolved quick and easy today. At least, I would love to hope for that!

I got my discharge this morning at about half past midnight...lawyer called us this morning and was kinda bummed I already knew (ha). Good luck.

I got mine as well, I posted a new thread but I forgot to post an update here, thanks for reminding me killinginstinct!

Here's the update:
There was a hiccup in the system and it didn't discharge me for some reason, I called my case manager and she said that she would be discharging my case today but I didn't expect her to do so right after our conversation (though I went and checked PACER 10 mins after the conversation ).
