Do I physically have to go to the courthouse to file for the bk? Or do I sign forms with my attorney and then they take care of it.

The only time you will have to go to the court house is when you have your 341 meeting. However, if your case is simple, you were truthful and you paperwork was in order it will only last 5 minutes. Don't forget to leave your cell phone in your car when you go the court house.Comment

the 341 might not even be in the courthouse; it could be any room in any building. there is no judge there, and it is not a courtroom.filed ch7 May 09
