owning vs. leasing a car while in Chapter 7

What have you found to be advantages/disadvantages for leasing vs. owning a car while you're in Chapter 7?

Especially if you intend to keep the car and are current on payments.

We have a leased vehicle and stated in our Chapter 7 we wanted to continue with the lease. We were current on the payments. The Trustee didn't seem to care anything about it. The leasing company sent our attorney an "Assumption of Lease" to sign and return to them. We didn't have to go through the court. It was very simple. We haven't heard a peep out of the leasing comany since we sent it in and have continued making the payments. The only difference is, we haven't been receiving the statements. Perhaps after our BK is discharged and closed.
