I can't help but worry that after our 341 one of our creditors either BofA or Discover will challenge purchases we made about five months ago. There were a lot of little purchases, you know? Probably a couple of thousand dollars overall, for about a month after I lost my job. We never made a purchase on either card after we figured we'd have to file bankruptcy. But we filed today, and it's only been about five months since we last purchased anything on either card.
Of course, there were no luxury items purchased and no cash advances.
If they contested those purchases, we couldn't fight it, and we really probably couldn't afford to pay it off.
I know no one can say with any certainty whether or not a credit card is likely to challenge. But in your opinion, do you think they will? Do they usually? It's seems like they would want to get out of us anything they could.
