Mortgage Discharge

Does your mortgage get discharge in chapter 7? On 2 of the 3 Credit Bureaus it shows my mortgage as beng included in BK and the balance as zero.

On equifax it shows that my mortgage is still active (and i didn't reaffirm)

I disputed it and they verfied it...so still on my report...what to do?

I would dispute it again, and if necessary send in a copy of the discharge papers.

ok thanks...so i am right that it should be off right? I know they still hold the lien but i didn't re-affirm just for this reason...i want it off my credit in case ...god forbid...i have to bail at some point

I am in the same boat. Except my beef is with Experian. I disputed it online once and they said it was valid and are keeping it. I have since disputed it again. Equifax and Transunion have it listed correctly.

I am trying to find experian's phone number so I can call them and tell them to go piss off.
