am I being paranoid?

Hi, we were discharged from our BK back in May,when we filled we included a roof loan we took out.This loan had nothing atatched to it and was from a diffrent company then our house is threw.Two days after the discharge we got a letter from the home loan place sayinf they wanted the money we called our lawyer and he let them know they could not touch us.Last night when I got home there was a car in my drive way takeing pixs of my house,I asked the lady what was she dooing she got in the car and drove off.We reffermed our house and have not missed any payments,so I know it was not them.Can any one think of a reason somebody would take a pixs of my house?

Could be the tax assessors office, who knows unless you ask.

Or it could be your homeowners insurance company (they do periodic updates to their files)....

Kinda weird that she didn't answer you though....hmmmm.

If she didn't answer you, it might have been from the loan company and since they can't touch you they might have been trying subtle intimidation to force you to pay them back. If they have no ties to your home loan and the debt was discharged, you should probably have your atty. send them another copy of the discharge paperwork with a letter telling them to leave you alone.

Although they want their money, they are still out of luck.

If someone was in my driveway taking pictures and wouldn't answer me, I would have called the police. How do you know not a thief staking out your house?
