What is doc? What does it mean?

a new doc was on Pacer today.

Notice of Appearance on Behalf of Creditor Recovery Management Systems
Corporation. Authrorizing Agent 1. Apparently GE Money (Walmart) credit card of some sort we had a while ago. BUT, we don't own them money.
The credit report shows that too.

SO what the h is this? Anyone know? And, what do I do about this?

I had a Sam's Club membership card that had a credit line attached to it that I didn't know of. The last time I used it was January 2004, and that was just to get in the store. I posted more details in this thread.

Thank you AngelinaCat for getting back with me so quickly. I did call CRMSC with the
name Ramesh Singh?? He is calling me back. In the meantime, I called GEmoney/Walmart and they took me to the collection dept. and that dept. said it was standard or a random thing to do this. But, we do NOT have any card open with them, and we don't owe a balance to this Walmart card either.
Now what? This Singh person is going to call me back soon, and I will talk to him, I guess.
Thanks again for helping me sort this out. Wonder if my attorney will pick this up and talk to me about it, or just not respond since it isn't anything to worry about.

AngelinaCat, I did what you suggested, and I called Ramesh Singh. He transferred me to another person that verfied my case to them, and they are now reporting back to the courts to remove notice of appearance since the cc card was listed as still open, but is closed, actually. Wierd...................

Could you understand a single word that guy said? Sometimes I think Ramesh Singh is Hindi for "bankruptcy department". The first time I talked to him he had an Indian accent that was so thick and he was talking so fast, I couldn't get a word of it. I finally just had to tell him that I was hanging up. Well, he called me back. Though I couldn't understand it, I think I was called pretty much everything in the book in Hindi.

The next time I talked to him, he still had an Indian accent, but not nearly as thick.

You got that right. His English is terrible. This bk case of mine gets more interesting as times goes on for sure. Seems like everybody and their brothers try to jump on your case blind-folded or something.
