I have asked this before but still wondering, should I do anything about this? Does it matter if this stays open for years? I think they are so bogged down with new filings that I have gotten pushed aside, but some day they will realize they left this hanging and still need to squeeze $2,000 out of me. At first my attorney's office was sending the Trustee's office an email every week asking for a Stipulation Agreement but now they have forgotten about me too. They told me there is no time limit, is this true?

Discharged but still open - for years?

It could be. We were discharged August 13, 2008, and are still awaiting closure more than a year later. Last month we had the trustee's report of final distribution show up on PACER, but so far there has been nothing after that."To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."

Do you know the reason for your delay?
I finally stopped checking PACER. I imagine that at some point, as I said, they will realize they forgot to squeeze those $2,000 from me and they will come after me. I just hope there are no negative ramifications from the time lapse.Filed Chap. 7 1/11/09

Thanks Joab, the only reason I haven't done that is because, to be honest, I am not anxious to start making those payments and want to put it off as long as possible, unless this is somehow going to come back and bite me.Filed Chap. 7 1/11/09
