    property taxes ... ???

We were discharged from Chapter 7 in August and are walking away from our home (Wells Fargo didn't want to play ball). I just received our property taxes...do I have to pay them or does WF?

My attorney SUCKS and I can't call and get help from his office AT ALL. It's been horrible.

    anyone know how this works?

It belongs to Wells Fargo, and they pay the property tax. When I foreclosed, I had to deal with this too. I also got a letter from Wells Fargo telling me that I had to get hazzard insurance. When I called Wells Fargo, they told me that I wasn't responsible for it.

The tax bill is a good candidate for the trash recycle bin. The tax will be paid by whomever is the next title owner.
Filed Ch7 5/28/09 (Pro Se) Orlando, 341 7/01, UST selected case for audit 7/01, Last day for objection 8/31. Audit report filed 9/10, no material misstatements. Discharged and closed 9/22/2009

...same for me. WF would not play ball. i offered the deed in lue, several cash short sale offers but no....instead they would rather pay all the taxes and insurance plus attorney fees for foreclosure. this has been going on for almost 3 years now and they just add it to my bill (now IIB). go figure. i dont know how they stay in business.

Interesting, I had the same thing, lost paperwork over and over for my shortsales, and the deed in lieu was being reviewed and suddenly they turned us over to an attorney never calling us back. I called and called and called. WF should be investigated I did loans for a broker that went to them for financing and they are not always so honest in my opinon. I think the govt could fine them and pay off the national debt.. lol

mabee they should use some of the people from the credit card collections call center in iowa. they only call me 27 times a day. their must be thousands of them working there.

I would have appreicated anyone calling me from WF at that time.. lol That would be a good suggested to them though. They seem to not have enough people to call you back, and when you call they tell you it is being worked on, but you can not talk to the person working on it. HmMMM... I am pretty sure that no one was ever working on it, they just enjoyed me spending 45.00 or so to fax it in each time... lol
