How long after the 341 do you

typically hear if something is going to go wrong? Just anything, nothing particular. Do some creditors wait out the whole 60 days? I keep hearing about an asset case. I know we don't have assets, but for some reason I keep thinking the will force us into a 13.

Usually you will know something before the 341 or if the UST was very curious at the 341. The UST asked me about my stock trades and wanted to see my bank and brokerage statements from 1-2008 till the 341 date, more than a year and a half. He looked and a few weeks later said OK no problem.

The only thing people have to really worry about is if there are assets out there or something else that the trustee or UST can get at. Or if you lied.

From what I understand, the UST has 10 days from the conclusion of your 341 to file a statement of abuse. The creditors and UST have the entire 60 days to file an objection. That is not likely but they can if they have cause.

Yes, you are correct. So what is the worry? Stop worry. If you have filed, you are on your way. 'Hub

How long after the 341 does the trustee have to file a report of no distribution or an initial report?

If a report of no distribution is filed soon, wouldn't that mean that ready2live's worries about becoming an asset case are over? (Or can that report be rescinded later?)

Usually ten days. IF and only if something comes up, anything can be rescinded and the case looked at closer. In this case it does not look likely. It would have to be some blatant fraud. 'Hub
