Chapter 7 filers in los angeles

ok, im getting anxious as you all can probably tell. My 341 hearing is 11/12 and I cant sleep :-(

So far, I received a letter from my trustee to bring only my last year tax return.

Does that usually mean, my case was reviewed and nothing more is needed? I plan to bring all my documents.

Also, when I checker the "party" section on the PACER it says, me, the trustee and the UST trustee and this is the reason why I am panicking. Is it normal for the PACER to include the UST?

Can anyone who filed a chapter 7 in los angeles, share your experiences. My trustee is a lady.

    Thanks a million.

Not in LA but yes the UST is listed in your docket report. Ours here in middle FL is listed by code and comes out of Orlando. My Court is in Jax.

It is wise to bring it all, but have what he asked for right at hand. Does not sound like anything abnormal. When did you file as last years tax return in 2008 and you should have already given that to your lawyer. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

I understand that. What I said was, didn't you give the 2008 to your lawyer, or did you file before you had it? I'm thinking of a reason the usual three years of returns were not asked for. 'Hub

HEY! I applaud you. Bring EVERYTHING, but volunteer nothing other than what he asked for. You did good. 'Hub

                I am in Northern California.
What I need to prepare is 3-month pay stubs and 2008 tax return. That's it!

I am planning to file in November but the paralegal said that I don't need to bring any bank statements to 341 though. Sometimes they ask more documents after filing but he said that it's very rare. (But I will bring all documents just as a backup)

I think there are too many filers too many documents in California...they request more documents only if they see a red flag in the means test or schedules I&J.

I think you are correct. CA is in big trouble. 'Hub

Yes, California is in a big trouble.
I am living in Central Valley and see thousands foreclosure in the areas.

90% of my neighbors have walked away from their homes since over 50% of house value was reduced.

Unemployment rates in local areas are 13% ~ 19%.

Local governments have laid off the public employees including cops and fire fighters. The public streets/services are getting wose due to the lack of public employees.

I would never see this type of weird simptons in my life ever....The California looks like in a trash can. No states are worse than this.
It's just horrible to live in the middle of pain.
