Pre 341 phone call meeting with trustee

Tomorrow at 3.00 PM I have to call into my trustee's office and talk to him as per a notice I recieved. My regular 341 is scheduled for 11/3. What is he going to ask me? I would assume it is just like a pre 341 run down. Did you fill out the petition properly, etc to save time at the actual 341. Suggestions?

This is basically a telephonic 'dress rehearsal' for your actual 341. You will be asked the standard questions, and questions specific to your case, if there are any. Any problems that arise at this time can be ironed out before the actual 341. If there is anything you need to bring with you, you will be told tomorrow.

Are you in Florida? This seems to be a common practice for the Florida Middle District. Good luck.

Yup I'm in FL. I didn't know what to expect and wasn't sure if this was normal protocall. My case is simple. No assets, live at home, unemployed, no big purchases, no 401k or other investments, etc.

well today i had my pre 341 phone interview. i must admit that indeed it was a piece of cake. it took a whole whopping 3 minutes. the trustee was even joking with me anyways, one down now just the actual 341 to attend. Only things he stated that i needed to bring was my Driver license and social security card.

As I have not yet filed, I am interested in all possible feedback about others experiences in FL, specifically the Middle District.

We filed in Jacksonville. It is closer to where we live. We are between 60 and 70 miles away from Jax. Orlando is at least a two and a half hour drive away; Tampa a good three and a half hours.
