    List creditor and collection

Wonderful site, thank you for this resource.

I have a unsecured debt that has been sent to collection agency. Do I list both on my matrix or just the creditor?

list both, but don't list the amount twice.

The rule of thumb that we use in my office is "When In Doubt, List". You'll never impede your bankruptcy case by listing too many people.

But the answer to your question more directly, you should list collections people simply so they will know to cease collection efforts. The original creditor may not even know who has the debt now. So the only way that collectors get notice is to list them as a "NOTICE ONLY" party on your matrix and schedules.
Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

So you do not put an amount do you point it in any way towards which creditor?
