I`m converting from a 13 to a 7. I never carry my ss card, so last night I make sure and put it in my wallet. Went to pickup my son from baseball practice and only stopped once for gas.Ii wake up this morning and can`t find my wallet. I search high and low going crazy. No wallet. I called in to work, knowing I`ll need my drivers license and social for my 341. Ran around got a new license and ss card. I arrive at the court house 30 minutes early. They changed the room for 341`s with no advance notice. I`m looking for my attorney, no sign. I hear our name called, still no attorney. Before I could say anything, the trustee went on to the next couple. Attorney (substitute from same office) arrives 10 minutes late. After several other couples we get called up and the trustee seems real nice and just asks the same questions he asked everyone else. I notice another gentleman come up with us and noone else. I figured he was a creditor. After all the standard questions from the trustee, the other guy pipes up and introduces himself. He`s the UST!! I forgot all about him in my nervousness. I knew he would probably be there since we are way above the median. He just asked if I expected our Overtime to come back soon and I said no. Then he asked my wife about her income. He hadn`t seen her income anywhere. I assumed he forgot or screwed up since it was all in the petition and the first trustee had it. Thats all the questions the UST had and then the other trustee wished us luck. Man it seemed like we were up at that table with everyone else in the room listening forever. A few of the others were actually up there longer. The trustee seemed cool, the UST seemed grumpy and thoroughly bored. I couldn`t tell since I don`t know any different, but our attorney said things went well, since they really didn`t ask ant direct questions. I`m not sure what comes next, I was just so happy to get out of there without running into anyone we know! I guess I`ll be checking pacer next week and hoping for the best. The paperwork they had sent before which asked if we were a presumption of abuse said no. I`m hoping thats cause we were in our 13 2.5 years and had paid back 52K to creditors. Oh well, not sure what to think but I`m going to enjoy the sense of relief tonight with a stiff beverage. Thanks to all on this forum and I`ll keep you all posted.
