changed to an asset case in pacer today

I just checked pacer and I was changed to an asset case today.

The trustee filed a notice of assets which goes to all the creditors on my matrix.

My statuses are waiting for discharge, with a deadline of 11/02/09 and waiting for trustee's report.

There is also a deadline called proof of claims deadline (for the creditor's to file claims) and that has a date of 1/13/2010.

The trustee's report of assets has not been filed yet.

Can anybody explain what this all means?

That is strange if your status shows as awaiting discharge with a deadline of 11/02/09 yet there is a date of 1/13/2010 for creditors to file claims. I wish I could explain this It does not make sense to me if you are scheduled to be discharged in Nov. with creditors having a deadline to file claims in Jan of 2010.

My guess is that the flags are in the process of updating. I am showing two statuses, waiting for discharge and waiting for trustee's report.

The 11-02-09 must refer to the last day for objections.

and the 1/13/2010 date is the last date for creditors to file a claim on my $1,000 (and whatever else the trustee throws in the report that isn't showing up as an asset in the interim report).

Either way, I will be discharged as a chapter 7 with minimal cost to me, so I am actually feeling pretty good about the way things are going.

Oh okay sorry for the confusion. At least that is good to hear you are feeling good about the whole thing despite the somewhat mysterious $1000 preference.
