    Day 61!

Today is day 61 and no extensions or objections, yahoo. Unless someone tells me otherwise, my dad's lawyer can no longer interfere in our case. We're so happy to overcome this hurdle.

Next battle is the UST and her motion to dismiss. That's okay. We're hoping a deal can be made or small 13, otherwise court here we come!

Glad to have been part of the 60 day club. I hope to be doing a hamster dance sometime this year, we'll see.

Congrats KingXray, that is a huge hurdle you've made it through.

Hopefully, things will be over soon.

    11-18-09-DISCHARGED!!

Life is not what challenges you face, but how you face those challenges.

It will be a smoother ride from here on out. Congrats!
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

I was thinking about your case. Just the other day I read Bk related article stating that you can basically sue a creditor who is trying to unduly harass and hinder your discharge.

A little confused. You say no objections/extentions and then the next battle is with the UST. Just wondering what could be happening. Congrats on your case so far.
Filed Ch7 5/28/09 (Pro Se) Orlando, 341 7/01, UST selected case for audit 7/01, Last day for objection 8/31. Audit report filed 9/10, no material misstatements. Discharged and closed 9/22/2009

The UST filed a statement of abuse after our 341 hearing (within the 10 days) and a few weeks later she filed a motion to dismiss. We have our first telephonic hearing at the end of this month.

My dad's lawyer was at our 341 and then went to the UST to try to influence her against our case. Obviously he was successful. We expected that. That's why we are so happy that he didn't file an objection and he can no longer interfere with our case.

Thanks for the expl. How slowly the whells of "justice" turn when you are on the receiving end.

That's great news. Your attorney is well prepared for the UST, so I'm sure you'll be just fine!
