The CC is not going to waste their time and money for $60 in wine. You have nothing to worry about, all the debt you listed will be discharged.

In short yes the CC COULD argue that a portion of the debt should not be discharged. Will they, no it's not worth the time or cost.

I wasn't so much worried about the wine as the obvious vacation in mid june. Not just the hotel but like I said theres hundreds/thousands in food and gas. But then again, I went to alabama and I doubt many people would view going to alabama as a vacation.

Tell them you needed the wine in order to read your credit card agreement. It relaxed your eyes enough to zone in on the small print.

I was concerned about a few charges I had as well (the majority were basics...food, gas, household). One charge, in particular, was a $200 group baby shower gift. My attorney wasn't remotely concerned. Plus, I had paid more than this amount in the three months prior to filing.

I used a cc the day of and the day before I filed to get food and gas plus pay some utilities. Total of about 400 bucks or so. I had 3.27 in the bank at the time minus the fee I needed to give the attorney.

Never heard a word from it.

That's a good point I did make at least the min payments for 3 months after these charges. I guess I am just paranoid.

You should be fine... I was using one of my cards up till about a month before I filed... everything from gas, dinner, clothing, and we bought a cheap tv at best buy in april. I also had balance transfers and we even purchased our wedding rings on credit in May (felt really bad about that) but nothing was questioned.

Really? I would have thought they would have certainly said something about anything within 30 days.

It's a bunch of small charges and nothing really stands out...you should be fine I don't think the Trustee has the time go through your small purchases with a fine-tooth comb and I doubt the creditors will challenge any of these charges.

I'm not sure it's really the TT that goes through the individual charges. I would be more concerned about what the actual creditor looks at on the account.

No, the Trustee doesn't, but he has assistants that check things out, but I doubt that they have time for such small charges, they are looking for "bigger fish to fry." Also, I doubt the creditors will challenge any of the OP's changes, it's just not worth the $$$ (this is only my opinion and my experience at MY 341).

I'm not at all doubting that you're correct, but you never know about a creditor getting a wild hair up their butt.

Creditors don't get wild hairs up their butts. This is all business to them. Unless the creditor is a unhappy relative.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick
