    Couple of quick questions

A motion for relief of stay was filed in our case from our mortgage company on the house we are surrendering. This is normal, right?

Also regarding due dates, the UST has filed a motion to dismiss and we have our first telephone hearing on 10/29/09. Our creditor objection due date is 10/13/09 (I know what that means); but then there is "objections due" dated 10/26/09. Is that the date that we have to file an objection to the motion to dismiss? I was just wondering what that date meant. Thanks.

Sounds like it, but usually objections or opposition to a motion to dismiss is due more like a week or so before the motion. Maybe that is the court's "briefing" schedule. Every court and Judge has their own rules regarding motions, etc. While there is the US Code, each Judge also has their own set of local rules.

Thanks much. I just wanted to confirm what I already thought.
