    Over median income?

I just reviewed our income from the last 6 mo. at we are around 85,000 per year.
Has anyone been successful doing a chapter 7 with this amount of income?
We are in the Tampa Bay area.
    Thanks.

    Yes, many people have.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

To be successful and an over the median chapter 7 filer you need to have a LOT of documentation as the trustee will be looking at your case more closely and the US Trustee might also look at your case. Receipts for all expenses, explanations for all deposits, etc will be expected.

The expense schedule of over the median filers is looked at closely, but many people still get discharged. Careful planning will make the process go more smoothly.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

Yes, I was over the median by $21k and was still able to file a ch 7. Also I was over the IRS standards on some of the catagories, so I saved ALL reciepts just in case...the trustee never asked for anything....
