Hi all,
Thanks for looking.
I was discharged on 3-30-09. No asset Yes!!!!!!
Have a couple questions. I don't know if it matters but I lived in Illinois
1.) The bank has not done anything with the duplex yet regarding the foreclosure of it. (That I am aware of). Winter is coming, am I still liable for the property? Bursting Pipes, Fire etc? What will happen If I don't do anything?
2 I opened up a secured card once I was discharged for $100. I pay off each month.
3 I would like to buy a house A.S.A.P like within 1-2 years. Do I need to do anything else to build my credit to buy a house other than the 1 secured card I have and just time? Do I need multiple cards to show I can pay them? Do I need uncecured cards or will secured cards be good enough?
4 What else should I do to build my credit (without geting into debt again). I don't want to go overboard and get into trouble again but I want to make sure I did enough to buy a house again.
5 I decieded to stop paying the home owners dues that the bank will be taking over "for now" to see if they will take me to court. If I get a letter then I will pay them. If I don't pay them "right now" will that hurt my credit?
6 THANK YOU EVERONE
