car value in mo

When looking for the value of a car, which price should I use. Trade in, retail, or private seller. I live in Missouri.

We filed at the end of last month in the eastern district of MO, using a lawyer. We haven't even had our 341 meeting yet, but the values the lawyer listed are closest to the KBB private party seller value.
