    What to bring to 341?

Hello, my lawyers say all we need to bring to 341 (On Oct. 6th) are our driver's licenses and SS cards - can this be right? The law firm gets copies of everything else to the trustees. I keep reading about th ebinders everyone is preparing and am confused.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

We are going to the trustee in WPB, FL if that matter (Judge PGH)...

    Thanks!

Hi some of us are very overly prepared with everything to bring to the 341s and others just their SS card and DLs with their attorneys sending bank statements, pay stubs and other necessary paperwork prior to the 341. Check with your attorney and depending on your case, if you feel comfortable and just to be on the safe side, bring all documents to support your case to your 341. Chances are that your trustee will just want to look at required documents and nothing further. Good luck!

The only two items you absolutely must bring is your social security card and official form of photo ID - typically your driver's license. If you are filing with a spouse, they need to bring their SSN card and official photo ID too.

If your trustee wants anything else, your lawyer will let you know what you need.

If you filed without a lawyer, then if your trustee hasn't already sent you a letter or booklet explaining what you need to bring besides SSN and license, you can call the local bk court clerk and ask nicely if you need to bring anything else with you.

When we filed our Ch 13 three years ago, I asked our lawyer if I should bring copies of documents I collected related to our case with us - he said no, that if anything was missing our trustee wanted, our trustee would simply continue our 341 to a later date to allow time to produce it. I brought my documents notebook with me anyway "just in case" - I didn't need it
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Thanks you two for your quick responses! I think I will call the trustees office/bk court clerk and nicely ask if there's anything they would want me to bring myself.

        Thanks!
