ESOP should be included in the file?

The former employer sent me a statement of ESOP (Employment Stock Ownership Plan) last year.
I don't know if I should list this as an asset in the BK file.
Even though there are some values in it, it can't be widthrawn due to a policy. I can cash it out 5 years after I left the company. (I left the company 2.5 years ago.)

Anyone has a similar experience on ESOP? Should I really report this?

    Thanks in advance.

i don't know anything about ESOP's. however, it sounds like an asset, so i think you have to list it. you would also explain in the petition (right next to it) that it is not available for 2.5 years. unless it's a huge amount, my guess is the trustee will abandon it rather than keep a case open for 2.5 years...

    ask a lawyer though.
