This is exactly why I will be bringing my stuffed to the gill 3" 3 ring binder with copies of every single thing I have done or have received from this process. If they try to tell me they don't have my 2008 tax return, they will a copy in their face right there! 
Even if they don't have it and you do they can still continue the case because "they don't have enough time to look it over". Our attorney had our tax statement in our file and tried to give it to the trustee...we were still continued.
