    This is good news yes?
    What do they mean by assets abandoned?
    We didn't give anything up we still pay on our car and house but we did not reaffirm anything which we chose to do.

    Are we getting close to done with this mess?

    You are indeed getting close to being done. After your 60 day period is over, they should issue your Discharge.

    Congrats!!

    I believe the total $$$$ value abandoned is simply the value of the items you COULD have walked away from. So I think that number includes your house and car, even though you reaffirm.

      very good news. Means the trustee didn't find any assets he could go after. Congrats

        it means the trustee will not take any items from you. the assets abandoned revert back to you, unless it's a car or house that you are surrendering in which case the lien-holder can go for them.

            May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
