    His and her debt

Well I have been scouring this website and reading the NOLO book. I cannot afford an attorney so I have to file pro se. I am pretty comfortable with everything I have done but was wondering if anyone had a similar situation. I am married filing alone. My husband has a car in his name only that I make payments on. Our other car is in both of our names but is only worth 1,000 so it is exempt. My question is about his car in his name. Do I include that on my list of secured creditors? No right? Is that just like his credit card debt? Not included. But then it will be included as an asset?

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any insight.

I believe if the car is in his name only, you may not be able to claim the payment on your expenses. What State are you filing in?
Filed Ch7 5/28/09 (Pro Se) Orlando, 341 7/01, UST selected case for audit 7/01, Last day for objection 8/31. Audit report filed 9/10, no material misstatements. Discharged and closed 9/22/2009
