i need to turn my car into my open banktupcy case and add a car that i just bought. what forms do i need to fill out? help!..i don't have an atty

What did you put on your statement of intention about the existing car? If you aren't current, don't worry, they will come repo it when you are discharged, if not sooner.

Did you buy a new car with cash or did you take out a loan?

I was a month late on the car, and they are going to pick up the car today. I was originally going to keep it, but my payments are very high and the car is falling apart with a very high balance. What form do I need to fill out for this one?


I just financed the new car last week at one of those pay here, no credit check places w/ $500 down. (before the 1st car is taken away). It will save me so much money with the new car. The payments and the balance is so much less. (what form do I need for this one to show that i this is a new creditor that I want to keep, and only creditor)

As far as I know, there isn't a form. Since you took the loan out after filing, the buy here pay here place does not need to be included in your BK.

If I am incorrect, I am sure someone else will post, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
