When do I have to go to debt classes

I haven't filed yet , seeing new attorney tuesday when will I have to go to debt class?

You'll need to do one online class before you file and one after you file, usually right after your 341 meeting.

The online class we did took two hours, cost $35 for both of us and was very worth while. They faxed both certificates to our lawyer and copies to us (email). The first one was more of an interview, to see if we qualified for bk and what kind. It was a nothing class as it was simply 15 minutes of questions. No big deal either. 'Hub

Also, how does it work if the counseling is included in the lawyer fee. I thought our lawyer said it was but maybe not.

The post 341 online course was by Hananwill Financial Educational Services. I'm posting this not as advertising as we are in FL Middle District. Ask you lawyer for recommendations as this one is approved by our district. It may or may not be approved for your district. To avoid a rule break for unauthorized advertising, you may Google this yourself. There are many out there. The pre 341 was a simple interview locally and again, it may not be authorized. Your lawyer will have many folders on many like services. 'Hub
