I bought and sold 3 vehicles in the last 2 years and cannot remember when I bought them, the date of sale, etc. I did transfer the title of them into my name. I also bought a hunting rifle last year but sold it after the season was over.. Will the court or anybody check or pull the MVD records or any other records? Doing a chapter 7 soon and need to fill in these last few details..

Some trustees will run an asset check and the cars will show up. Just disclose everything and if you didn't make a ton of money on each one I doubt if anything will come of it. Your attorney should be able to run the asset check for a fee.7-2-2009 Filed

Filing Bankruptcy is a pretty big deal and worth the effort to go back through your records and reconstruct a timeline of events for major financial transactions, like buying and selling cars. Take the time to do it right. If you aren't hiding anything you have nothing to worry about. If there is ever a time to not take shortcuts and skip listing something, even if it's something that won't change your final outcome, Bankruptcy is it.
Just my 2 cents
